This is the last pregnancy update that I didn’t get a chance to post before Emilia’s early arrival.
Symptoms? My left lower leg muscles started hurting intermittently, as well as my right hip. This is probably caused by lack of exercise but I’m just going to wait until after Emilia is born to get fit again 😛 Meanwhile I’m relying on RMT to help me relax my muscles.
My weight has been hovering between 152 and 155 lbs for the past 3 weeks. 155 lbs right after a meal and 152 in the morning when I first wake up.
Change in dietary habits? No change. I just can’t wait to have sushi again!! I can see the finish line now!
Exercises? The only exercise I’ve been getting is walking up and down the stairs in our townhouse 😛
Sleep? I’m very happy that I’m still basically sleeping through the night, only waking up every 3 hours to pee.
Baby movements? Emilia is really running out of space now. She loves partying on top of my bladder late afternoon / early evening every day. I’m still fascinated by how I can feel her little feet and limbs whenever she stretches. And if she happens to be awake when Andres started singing to her, she’d start shaking her bum 😂
At week 36 Emilia is about the length of a head of romaine lettuce.
At week 37 she is about the length of a bunch of Swiss chard.
At week 38 she is about the length of a leek.

Anything else special happened these past 2 weeks?
We went to the baby shower of a very good friend of ours, had a great meal (best Mexican food I’ve had in Toronto) at Cocina Economica, and lots of last minute baby purchases (yay for Amazon Prime Day)!
